Horseracing in Ireland: From the Horse's Mouth
Successful adult education course on Horseracing in Ireland returns for a seventh year to UCD-University College Dublin.

UCD, Dublin, Adult Education Centre is pleased to announce the return of their very popular adult education course on Horseracing in Ireland called "From the Horse's Mouth" to the Adult Education Centre for a seventh year in Spring 2006.To date the course has been attended by over 3,000 students.
This course, which is supported by Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) runs for ten weeks and covers every aspect of the racing industry, including the role of Trainers, Owners, Breeders, Jockeys, the Turf Club, Horse Racing Ireland, Racecourse Management, Betting, the Equine Centre as well as the Racing Press and Media. It will features over 25 high profile lecturers from all areas of the Irish Racing Industry, including Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive, Horse Racing Ireland, Denis Egan, Chief Executive, The Turf Club, Francis Hyland, Bookmakers Association, Paddy Power, Paddy Power Bookmakers as well as well known jockeys and trainers.
The course, in UCD, Dublin, starts on Monday 23rd January until Monday 27th March 2006 from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
It costs €165 for ten weeks and includes a day at the races with free admission tickets.
