Premier Group launches new offices in Dublin and Cork and announces the recruitment of 100 new staff.

Comedienne Deirdre O'Kane was the special guest at the opening of the Premier Group's new office in Dublin at Connaught House, Number One Burlington Road, Dublin 2 on Thursday 8th March 2007. The special event was attended by over 300 of Premier's leading client companies including representatives of Pfizer, the Kerry Group, and Irish Distillers etc.

The wholly Irish owned recruitment services group also announced that they will expand its operations with the recruitment of over 100 new employees during 2007. The announcement was made at the official opening ceremony by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment, Micheál Martin, T.D. Recruitment has already commenced and will be completed this year.

With major operations in Ireland and the United Kingdom, Premier Group is this country's largest and most successful recruitment company with several divisions operating across a range of industry sectors. Established in 1988, Premier has grown to employ 330 people with 22 offices in Ireland and the UK. The group had 2006 turnover of €85 million and net fees of €38 million.

The employment vacancies created today include positions for experienced and graduate trainee recruitment consultants across each of Premier Group's operating divisions - Premier Recruitment (accounting & financial services market), la crème (office & administrative market), Brunel (technical & engineering market) and Verkom (information technology market). Premier Group also said that it intends launching Brunel in the UK in 2008 and Verkom in 2009.

The Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment, Micheál Martin, commented: "Premier Group is a rapidly growing Irish owned company with a current minimum growth target of 25% per annum. The group and its divisions are impressive in their professionalism and commitment to quality. Based on its investments in people, systems and facilities, Premier Group has created a platform for future success and it expects to double in size over the next three years. It is on the basis of this solid record of quality and performance that the company has attracted the business of leading corporations and businesses in Ireland and in the UK."

Pat Fitzgerald, Managing Director of Premier Group commented: "Forecasts for the recruitment industry over the next three years remain positive in Ireland and particularly in the UK where that market is growing rapidly. The Irish recruitment market typically lags behind UK market developments by anything up to four years. We see continued steady growth at satisfactory levels in Ireland whilst targeting a more rapid expansion process in the UK."

"We believe that our current annual growth rate of over 40% will be sustained and that our target of reaching a €250 million turnover by the end of 2009, with a parallel increase in our net fees to €100 million, is an obtainable goal."

"The success of our organization is underpinned by the commitment, loyalty and dedication of our management and staff. We were recently identified among the top 50 best companies to work for in Ireland for the third successive year and as the best company in Ireland in terms of the respect that we afford to work-life balance among our staff. Combined with the professionalism of our consultants it is through that culture that we are able to meet the requirements of our clients and to compete successfully across the recruitment markets in which we operate."
